The Club to Pub swim, now in its fifth year, continues to grow in popularity. A summer 1.5km evening swim taking place in the heart of Henley. Starting from Henley Rowing Club, and finishing at the Historic Angel on the Bridge (dating back to 1728).
The first 400m from Henley Rowing Club heads upstream towards Marsh lock, turning at 2 large marker buoys, and hugging the Mill Meadow bank all the way back downstream to the Angel on the Bridge.
On your arrival at the Angel, you will be presented with a bottle of specially brewed Two Bells beer, and a medal that doubles as a bottle opener.
There will be a BBQ and drinks available to purchase at the Angel, after the swim.
There is a new wave structure for 2018 - if you are planning on racing hard, please select the performance wave. All other swimmers, both competitive and leisurely, can select between a male, female or mixed wave. Mixed Wave 1 and Mixed Wave 2 are both mixed sex and mixed ability. If you are swimming with friends, please choose the same wave. Mixed Wave 1 is nearly full, so if you have friends who plan to enter at a later date, you are best to pick Mixed Wave 2 for your registration.
Placings will be issued after all the waves have finished, and will be separated into sex and age group categories, along with a traditional category and team prizes.
